“Taste of New Tech”
Belleville New Tech Farmers’ Market
Tuesday, December 9th 2014
9:30-10:30am and 1:00-2:00pm
@ Belleville High School Media Center
501 W. Columbia Belleville, MI 48111
9th grade BioLit students have been working with the Michigan Farm Bureau and have been researching macromolecules in food, energy flow through trophic levels in food webs, the farming industry, and the importance of “Eating and Buying Local”.
Teams will be showcasing the food webs they created, a recipe and dish that encompasses all the macromolecules, and a website designed to educate others on Farm to Plate issues.
Having an authentic audience is such an important part of this process, we hope you can attend. We are looking for farmers, restaurant owners, grocery store shoppers, educators, community and board members, and family members to attend. There will be two different groups of students presenting so please come to both sessions if you are able.
Come in the main entrance of BHS. We will provide you with a guest sticker and bring you to the media center for the Farmers’ Market.
Thank you for your support.
