On Thursday April 7th, 9th grade New Tech BioLit students
have been working with the Wayne County Farm Bureau and will be hosting a Farm to Plate Informative Event. It will be in the Media Center from 9:30-10:30 am and from 12:15-1:15 pm. Students will be showcasing their knowledge on the Omnivore’s Dilemma, the Importance of Agriculture in Michigan, the interdependence of food chains for energy and showcasing a recipe with taste testing that highlights the food item they selected. This event is open to our local farmers, families and all community members. Outside audiences make a world of difference, please stop by if you have a chance.

As we are hosting an ACT Prep/Study night on this date (02/19/14) at 6 PM, we will not have our regularly scheduled PAC meeting.
We invite and encourage anyone interested in participating in the study session, we will be covering the “reading” portion of the ACT test tomorrow night from
6pm to 8pm.
Next PAC meeting is planned for March 19th at 6pm at BHS! Hope to see you then 🙂
Attention students, the PAC is hosting BNT Test Technique/Practice nights beginning February 4th, to aid in preparing students for the upcoming ACT/MME testing to take place March 3rd, 4th and 5th.
The objective of these sessions is to familiarize students with the process and expectations of each section of the test, share various self help resources and tips, to provide a forum of open discussion, an and opportunity to take a practice test.
To ensure there are adequate supplies and snacks; we are asking you to sign up in advance for these sessions!

We hope you can join us for the parent action committee meeting on Wednesday,
where we will discuss and plan ACT practice test nights for our students and BNT apparel and web-store for ordering!!
Belleville New Tech will have a float in the “Lighted Christmas Parade” this year! We are asking New Tech Students and their families along with facilitators to come on out and walk with us. The first 50 walkers will get glow glasses and a glow necklace and a Hawaiian lei to help light up the night! Parade starts at 6 pm at BHS please be there a few minutes early to line up! The theme this year is “Hawaiian Christmas” feel free to wear your Hawaiian gear over your warm coats…of course…and add lights to your attire if you wish! Stay for Fireworks over the lake afterwards!!

Come join the fun, enjoy an evening out and get your Christmas shopping done. Some of your favorite vendors will be on hand for cash and carry items or you can order from your favorite catalogs without having a party at home!
Please remember to bring your pledges with you tomorrow to school!!!
